History

Old Trafford Cricket Ground History is very vast. Established in 1857, is the second oldest test ground in England. It hosted the first Ashes test cricket match in England in July 1884. This ground has been used in previous Cricket World Cups during 1975, 1979, 1983, and 1999. Recently, its Pavilion End name has been renamed as ‘James Anderson End’ as a tribute to James Anderson, the leading test wicket-taker.
