Monday, 13 January, is the day for the draft for the 2025 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The first pick in the PSL 10 draft belong to the Lahore Qalandars led by Shaheen Shah Afridi. It was announced previously that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will host the T20 tournament during April and May instead of its original window of Feb-Mar due to Champion’s Trophy and packed Home Season.

Pakistan Super League works on a different model than IPL. There is no Auction system in PSL, instead, players are divided into different categories like Platinum, Diamond, etc. with a fixed price for each category.
